Collection: Hot Processed Soap

Our Hot Processed Soap has a distinctive, rustic appearance, not a smooth bar.

Hot Processed Soap (HP) is surprisingly similar to Cold Processed Soap (CP), except for one important distinction – after the oils & lye solution have been mixed, the soap is then heated (forced to “cook” – aka “hot process”) before it is poured into the mold.

This forced heat/cooking speeds up the saponification process significantly. (If you’re not sure what saponification means, it’s the process of making soap when the individual ingredients like oils/fats, lye, water, etc. turn into soap & glycerin!)

Get ready for a soap that's anything but smooth and refined. With its craggy texture, Hot Processed Soap has a rustic, homemade feel that sets it apart from the more traditional Artisan or Natural Cold Processed soap. But don't be fooled by its rough appearance - Hot Processed (HP) soap is just as effective as Cold Processed (CP) soap, thanks to a little extra heat. That's right, this soap gets cooked up before being poured into the mold, speeding up the saponification process. It's like a shortcut to beautiful skin - without compromising on quality or charm!
